Hi! I'm Sofia Salas

At 16 years old, I was given my first film camera to use for my high school's art class. I loved taking pictures of everything and took it everywhere I went. When I went to college I majored in Photography and then turned to digital cameras. I felt empowered behind a lens and being able to see even the mundane things that other's ignored and turning it into something people could appreciate. After college I opened up my own business where I sell prints and exhibit my artwork. You can always find me behind a lens and never in front of it.

In my collection of dog photographs, I like to capture pet's personalities, character, habits and other memorable moment. The subjects are plenty, candid and natural, seeing as how pets don't pose as humans do.
